It'll Be Stupid Hot in San Francisco This Week

Feelin' hot, hot, hot...
​A searing heat wave is upon us -- but, worry not. No one drawing a salary from the government is asking you to do anything in response. No Spare the Air Day is in effect -- so you can feel free to barbecue to your heart's content and use the car for two-block trips. Right?

While other parts of the state may burst into flames, San Franciscans will just feel that way. The National Weather Service has placed an Excessive Heat Warning on the San Francisco and San Jose area. here's why:

Expect sweltering weather throughout the work week, with temperatures dropping down to sane levels for the weekend -- when it may even rain.
