Yep, blame that one on the Blue Angels
The spectacle of a jet screeching over one's domicile can be terrifying. And human beings, ostensibly, can rationalize, "oh, it's a jet." Your dogs and cats cannot. Therefore, they go on the carpet.

So, does Fleet Week lead to a bonanza for San Francisco carpet cleaners? We asked a few.

Both Marvin Henry of Bay Area Carpet Cleaning and Jack Borges of Jack's Carpet Cleaner laughed -- but said they don't circle Fleet Week and look forward to it like kids anticipating Christmas. "We have a great week every week," said Henry. Said Borges regarding Fleet Week-related carpet disasters, "Yeah, it makes sense. But I don't hear nothing about that."

Al Ajk -- that's how he spelled it -- of All 4 U Carpet Cleaning, however, said Fleet Week is money in his pocket. "Yeah, it's happened a lot," he says. "I get a lot of business because animals pee or poop on the rug."

So, there you go. Blue Angels = Golden Showers = Green for Al.
