Hilariously, it turns out Journey singer Steve Perry is a Giants fan -- and he hated this. "I really wish we'd have hijacked it first. I think the song is about hope and power, and it's working for them, damn it," he told the Chronicle.
Local musician Ashkon and the production team at White Collar Brawler teamed to create the self-proclaimed anthem, which contains lyrics such as the following: I had faith and I had hope. Thankfully the Padres choked. Even better, maybe it was the Rally Thong.
The bandwagon tour continues -- and will hit fever pitch if Madison Bumgarner can take down the Braves in Atlanta today.
