Private Investigator Hired to Dig Up Dirt -- On Dog
The yet-unnamed 33-year-old alleged stabber was never arrested. Tamburello's client is accused of stabbing Lenny the pit bull without provocation in August -- and PI Tim O'Brien tells SF Weekly he's working to provide the alleged stabber's side of the story.
"Let's put it this way: His version of what happened is different than the version in the media," says O'Brien of the client of his client. "I'm just trying to find out about ... various problems with Lenny. I'm trying to track down first-hand information on that."
In other words, O'Brien is out to establish that Lenny is an out-and-out bad dog.
When asked if this is the first time he's been asked to dig up dirt on a dog, O'Brien laughed. "It's certainly up there."
