Ashkon To Perform 'Don't Stop Believing' Outside AT&T Park Today
Any Giants fan who wants to meet YouTube's million-hit-man Ashkon in person can do so today at 4:15, when the singer of the Giants-themed "Don't Stop Believing" belts it out outside the ballpark.
"It'll be me, a guitar, an amp, and what's left of my flu-ridden voice," Ashkon Davaran tells SF Weekly. "I'll be performing the song everyone wants to hear."
The Bay Area-born singer and actor, who has snagged a share of net fame via the above ditty, managed to also snag tickets for Game 1 -- and hopes to do so tonight as well. Should the Giants return to AT&T Park after the weekend -- and fans are hoping the team wins out in Arlington and that's not necessary -- Ashkon speculates he may be tapped by the team to "do something" during Games 6 or 7.
