While the San Francisco Giants' inclusion in the baseball postseason won't be determined prior to what promises to be an agonizing, dozen-game stretch, fans can purchase playoff tickets in just under 40 minutes. Of course, that may be agonizing in its own way.

That's because tickets are only selling at the team's own website.

Getting onto the site is already nigh impossible long before the green light for ticket sales; the experience recalls foul memories of attempting to dial onto the modems at college, or ordering U2 tickets over the phone.

There will be no in-person sales, and fans lucky enough to elbow out the online competition are limited to a purchase of six National League Division Series tickets. Prices range from $28 for View Reserve Left Field to $35-$40 for bleachers all the way up to $175 for premium field club seats.

It warrants mentioning that Giants' playoff prices compare favorably with the everyday prices at New Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park.
