Does this alleged armed sunglass thief ring a bell?
Earlier today, we reported on a ballsy thief who returned, twice, to the same gas station to filch sunglasses. Turns out, however, he was just the opening act.

Police are seeking a gun-toting robber who barged into the Sunglass Hut at 2327 Market and demanded employees disgorge sunglasses into a bag under pain of death. According to the San Francisco Police Department, the man only wanted sunglasses. No money, no credit cards, no treasury bonds -- just sunglasses. (Store employees, however, say the robber ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, too).

Police do not know how many sunglasses he made off with.

The robber is described as a white man standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 300 pounds. After the weekend robbery, the heavyset thief was seen hopping into a black Honda Accord with California license plate No.  5ZIL976.

Finally, the sunglass-thief conveniently wore no face covering whatsoever, and was caught on security footage. If this gent's visage rings a bell, ring the SFPD anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411.
