Raymond Twine Murdered in Bernal Heights; Hashim Kamau Gunned Down in Ocean View. Homicides Nos. 32, 33.

Two young men were shot to death last night and early this morning in San Francisco -- putting the homicide tally at three in a 24-hour span.

At 12:15 Friday morning, a victim the San Francisco Medical Examiner has identified as Raymond Twine, a 20-year-old black man, was found shot to death at 911 Ellsworth, near the Alemany Housing Projects.

At 6:40 p.m. on Thursday, Hashim Kamau, a 19-year-old black man, was gunned down near Capitol Avenue and Lobos Street.

These homicides come on the heels of the murder of Steven Garrett yesterday in the Tenderloin. That 26-year-old black man was beaten and shot multiple times.

Kamau and Twine are, respectively, the 32nd and 33rd homicides in the city this year.
