'BBQ Tool' Used in San Francisco Stabbing Attack
|Perhaps 'Clue' should have included BBQ tools in its weaponry?|
A 47-year-old woman named Gay Brandies was last night arrested after an incident with a 45-year-old woman living in the same Single Room Occupancy (SRO) hotel near Sixth and Markets streets. On the police report, it received the rare designation of stabbing by "BBQ Tool."

At around 11:05 last night, Brandies toted her barbecue tool -- Sergeant Troy Dangerfield of the SFPD said it was the two-pronged skewer -- to her neighbor's door and knocked. When the 45-year-old opened the door, she was allegedly greeted with a stab in the throat. Brandies then retreated back to across the hall to her room.
The victim called 911, police arrested Brandies, and the victim was taken to the hospital with "non-life-threatening injuries."
Isn't San Francisco wonderful in the summertime?
