Sunday Streets in the Mission Pretty Much Ruled

We were just out for a walk in the Mish on Sunday, and somehow we ended up surrounded cooing at children and puppies, side-stepping ostentatious bicycles, and even donning a pair of early '90s roller skates. It all happened because of a little thing called Sunday Streets, a monthly(ish) event involving the blocking off of streets in varying neighborhoods so people can just sort of hang out.

This kid was thoroughly enjoying his reign over 24th Street.

On some street corners, people were playing music. On others, people were mounted on weird bikes. Then there were the people mounted on weird bikes that happened to also be playing music.

The next Sunday Streets will be Aug. 22 in the Outer Sunset.
