The dead man's drinking companion, a black man in his 20s, was questioned at the scene. Police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza is uncertain at this time if that man was booked.

No weapon was recovered. The case has not yet been ruled a homicide. Should that be the case, the unidentified man would be the 29th San Francisco murder victim of the year.

Update, 2 p.m.: The victim's drinking buddy, 30-year-old Michael Little, has been arrested and charged with murder. The Medical Examiner's office has ID'd the victim, but is not yet releasing the name until the man's family has been notified.
