Police believe they've nabbed this sartorially gifted bank robber
A woman who knocked over a pair of San Francisco banks while decked out in knockout attire that caught the eyes of witnesses has purportedly been arrested, San Francisco and Daly City cops report.

The woman -- whose name has not yet been released -- is suspected of holding up a pair of Bank of America branches in the city on July 12 and 16, as well as a Daly City bank earlier this month. In a move that appears to have backfired, the robber wore incredibly distinctive attire befitting Carrie Bradshaw that allowed eyewitnesses to describe her down to minute details.

On July 16, folks at the BofA at 5268 Diamond Heights couldn't help but notice her curly brown, shoulder-length hair with distinctive red highlights; sunglasses; a black purse; denim dress; and silver flat sandals. Four days earlier, at 3701 Balboa, witnesses took in the robber's distinctive orange purse.

San Francisco Police released pictures to the public -- and the robber's noticeable appearance and lack of a disguise led to tipsters phoning in. San Francisco and Daly City cops arrested a suspect at her place of business yesterday in Martinez.

She remains in San Mateo County Jail; she will first face charges in the alleged Daly City heist before being charged in San Francisco.
