Pedro Hernandez, Accused of Grade School Molestation, Remains at Large
He has addresses in both San Francisco and the East Bay and is a frequent visitor to Mexico; his photograph and information has been distributed to federal agencies across the state as well as the border patrol.
A $2 million warrant has been issued for his arrest in what San Francisco Police spokesman Officer Samson Chan calls "a very active case."
On Thursday, Hernandez allegedly arrived at the school claiming he was bringing his step-granddaughter lunch. He then led her to a stairwell and is accused of molesting her -- a charge backed up by surveillance tapes and a teacher's aide who interrupted him.
Anyone with information the whereabouts of the 5-foot-2, 140-pound Hernandez is encouraged to call (415) 575-4444.
