Sunnydale Men Get Into Epic Fight Over Cell Phone Charger
| Why wasn't this one of the Clue weapons? |
That very thing happened Tuesday night, according to Captain Louis Cassanego, commanding officer of the Ingleside Station.
"I know it appears trivial," said Cassanego. "But sometimes serious crimes erupt over minor issues."
Around 10 p.m., one guy asked another to borrow his cell phone charger. But for one reason or another, the owner of the charger refused. An argument over it spilled outside and turned violent when one man whipped out a knife, and the other picked up a stick.
He slashed the stick-man's arm and wrist, and that's when the stick man chose a new weapon -- a glass cake cover. He slammed the knife guy in the face with it, causing facial lacerations and a quick retreat.
Numerous officers deployed to the scene found the knife man in his home. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The phone, it seems, was never charged.
