GOP Senate Hopefuls Fiorina, DeVore: Give Guns to Terrorists!

• Peter, clearly being at the center of the endless Summer of Love deeply distorts reality...btw it ended a while ago. Carly and Chuck make simple constitutional sense and the the pack will keep the total message very honest until she gets the job in November.The real issue is the incompetence of the incumbent Senators and Madam Senator Boxers deserved vulnerability in this cycle. There is no incumbent excuse for the state of the state and you know it so say bye bye because one of these new people will win and I recommend Fiorina.

• Nice of you Peter to distort the facts and help perpetrate a fraud upon the American people. Or are you just doing some quick knee jerking? What they were talking about in the debate was an unconstitutional no fly list. The No Fly list is created in secret by TSA. It has tens of thousands of names on the list including at one time Ted Kennedy and an 8 yr old boy who will forever be listed as a terrorist. Who has the authority to add names to the list? A politician and not a real security expert. We all should be ashamed of allowing our Government to circumvent our constitutional rights and denying citizens their right to fly on a plane without due process of law, let alone trying to deny them the right to purchase a firearm. If they are in fact terrorists then why are they not arrested and either put in jail or deported? Oh they have not done anything wrong yet? They are only suspected based upon criteria that TSA keeps secret? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? So when Devore and Fiorina are saying that they will not support unconstitutional legislation such as what Feinstein and Boxer are proposing, then we should all be supporting them. Peter if you don�t like the constitution then change it by amendment. Don�t try to lie and distort the facts to get your way. It won�t work on us.

• Here's the thing. . . Being on the watch list doesn't mean you are a terrorist. Being on the watch list just means that some unknown person in the federal government, for some unknown reason, decided to put you on the list. Nobody knows what the criteria are. If we enter an era when basic civil rights can be denied to anybody, arbitrarily, just because they were placed on a secret list by a faceless bureaucrat, then we might as well just tear up the whole Constitution and use the scraps for kindling. I like a lot of what I've heard about Campbell, but if he "guffaws" at the idea of Americans having civil rights, that is just scary.

• What are you smoking? Campbell is a far more credible challenger to Boxer than Fiorina.
