Feds Probing Dan White, Harvey Milk, George Moscone When White Killed Milk, Moscone

All in the Feds' dossier...

​At the time Dan White unloaded his pistol into Mayor George Moscone and Harvey Milk, all three were under the FBI's microscope in political corruption probes.

Documents obtained by San Francisco gay rights blogger Michael Petrelis and reported on by The Raw Story reveal that both Milk and Moscone were the subject of a federal probe of whether they "collaborated to defraud the federally funded San Francisco Community Development Fund" (see original document here). Moscone was also under investigation regarding allegations he'd received $10,000 in exchange for "favorable treatment in the building of a controversial McDonald's restaurant."

White, meanwhile, had caught the Feds' attention for purported "political corruption regarding Pier 39 concessions." The former cop and firefighter "allegedly secured favorable treatment for [name redacted] in exchange for concessions at the newly constructed pier. Dan White does lease space at Pier 39 where he operates a fast-food restaurant." 

The documents recap White's murder of Milk and Moscone before outlining the "Two separate current investigations that relate to Moscone, Milk, and Dan White."

It also notes that "The above two San Francisco investigations should not be discussed outside the bureau."
