iPad Has Risen: Steve Jobs Makes Easter Eve Appearance

With around 300,000 units of what was presciently called the Jesus Tablet sold on its first day, it's worth noting that Steve Jobs, wearing a black hoodie and ripped jeans, revealed himself to his flock on Easter Eve at the Palo Alto Apple store (a good 14 miles away from The Mothership).

Thus far we've seen the usually reclusive Jobs at his elaborate product launches and even at coffee with fellow demi-god Google CEO Eric Schmidt -- but never among the unwashed gadget nerd masses.

Blessed are the geeks, for they shall inherit a magical multi-touch tablet interface.

Here he is leaving the store on Saturday, looking somewhat thin, modestly attired, and very pleased with himself. Well, after having completely changed the nature of personal computing, wouldn't you be?
