The peanut butter and chocolate of San Francisco arson crimes have finally come together...
Over the past year and change, San Francisco has been host to two sprees of flaming objects (three if you include Harvey Fierstein's just-concluded run as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof): Burning cars and burning outhouses.

If Fierstein and his Torch Song Trilogy were responsible for the following, that would tie everything together all too neatly. That's not the case. But, on Sunday, the city's two major runs of immolated objects merged with the combined flaming outhouse-flaming car extravaganza.

At 4 a.m., police were summoned to Pasadena Street, across Geneva Avenue from the Cow Palace. There they found the smoldering remains of a charred outhouse already doused by the fire department. And yet, wandering "down the street a ways," according to the police writeup, they came across "another small fire in the bed of a pickup truck."

Let's see the cops try to pin this one on Fafa Chan.
