MSNBC's second string liberal yakker Ed Schultz predicts Cindy Sheehan, the anti-war protester who took a failed shot at Nancy Pelosi's congressional seat in 2008, will make a go again in 2010 -- and possibly win.

In response, Sheehan did some speculating of her own: "Is Ed Schultz smoking crack?"

In his Dec. 29 evening talk show, Schultz, like all American pundits, made a series of predictions for 2010.

We'll let Schultz take it away with a transcript excerpt where he describes his first prediction:

And a quick look ahead to next year. Midterm elections are going to be coming up, and a blast from the past. This might shock you, but I think it`s going to happen. The bounce-back of the year is going to be -- that`s right -- antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan. She ran against Nancy Pelosi in 2008, and I think that she just might mix it up again. And the way people feel about Nancy Pelosi, gosh, she could just peel off just enough disgruntled progressives out on the West Coast in that district that it might be trouble for the Speaker of the House.
Tell me what you think in our telephone survey tonight, folks. The number to dial is 1-877-ED-MSNBC.

We contacted Sheehan and asked if she'll soon be a congresswoman. In addition to the "smoking crack" comment, Sheehan noted that she'll be too busy in Washington D.C. reprising her 2005 Camp Casey protest near George W. Bush's Crawford Texas ranch.

I think I have been very clear that I am not running against Pelosi again. And how can I do that if I am camping in D.C., anyway?
I hope to make political heat for her with Peace of the Action--and I hope it moves her and her Congress to stop funding the wars.
Ed Schultz needs a fact checker.
