The San Francisco woman accused of using a clock as a deadly weapon will be in court today when the little hand is on the 9 and the big hand is on the 12.

Kira Roueche, 34, was arrested on Nov. 9 after allegedly beating her boyfriend, Cameron Miller, to death with both the aforementioned clock and a vodka bottle. In addition to murder charge, Roueche is facing a pair of assault with a deadly weapon counts for the clock and bottle -- with enhancements for great bodily injury. Rouche has pleaded not guilty to all charges; she will be in court today to set the date for a preliminary hearing.

Finally, when SF Weekly asked the District Attorney's office what manner of clock was involved here, we were told it was likely a bedside clock radio. When we queried how this could be a deadly weapon, we were told that just about anything can be classified as such if used repeatedly as a bludgeon.
