The San Francisco Medical Examiner's office confirmed to SF Weekly that the victim of an early morning Tenderloin homicide was William Quinn.

The 40-year-old city resident was stabbed to death in the wee hours this morning in the Cadillac Market at Eddy and Hyde. The San Francisco Police Department confirmed to us that an arrest has been made, but had no other details at hand.

This has already been a difficult morning in San Francisco -- a man was shot in the head in Viz Valley; KTVU-TV reports he may have interrupted the theft of his car. Despite the gravity of his wounds, the Medical Examiner confirms that this victim is still alive at this time.
