A Daly City man stabbed repeatedly during what appeared to be a fight in the Outer Mission died early Sunday morning, making him the city's 43rd homicide of the year.
German Fernandez, 33, was discovered at Cesar Chavez and Bryant by police responding to reports of a nearby brawl. He was rushed to General Hospital but succumbed to his wounds; the SFPD is still seeking information on the group of four or five men who apparently stabbed Fernandez to death.
Fernandez is the first city homicide since Nov. 8 -- when 34-year-old Kira Roueche was accused of beating her boyfriend, Cameron Miller, to death with a clock and vodka bottle.
Anyone with information regarding Fernandez' death is encouraged to call (415) 553-1145 or (415) 553-1997 to speak with homicide inspectors Gianrico Pierucci or Joe Engler.
