Woman Accused of Vandalizing Car -- With Dog

'What a world, what a world'
Truth be told, there are more effective ways of vandalizing a car -- via a can of spray paint or a chisel to name a couple. But employing man's best friend as a means of inflicting damage upon a vehicle -- now that earns some style points.

On Sunday evening, a pair of San Francisco police officers headed to the intersection of Kelloch and Velasco to investigate allegations of automobile vandalism. Instead they got a shaggy dog story of sorts.

A woman told police officers that, yes, she was responsible for the gouges on a car -- but it wasn't her intention. She claims a large dog was menacing her small pooch, and as the big dog drew nearer, she placed her dog atop a nearby car and began shouting for help.

While her move kept her lapdog from being victimized, it did result in damage to the car of the sort that anyone owning a dog and hardwood floors can attest to.

Charges were not filed as this is evidently a matter that's between the car owner, the dog owner, and her little dog, too.
