Where the hell did that come from?
The other day we praised Captain Paul Chignell of the San Francisco Police Department's Taraval Station for knowing just when to insert alleged-criminals-say-the-darndest-things-caliber quotes into his police reports. Well, guess what we just found?

The other day at Judah and 19th an officer pulled over a vehicle for a turn violation. As the driver and officer were talking about relevant traffic safety laws, a dose of what appeared to be methamphetamine dropped from parts unknown and landed in the driver's lap.

Don't you hate when that happens to you? After what we imagine was a pregnant pause, the driver said just about the only thing he could: "That's not mine. I don't know where that came from."

Hmmmm ... Sheboygan?

Once the car was searched further, the officer discovered suspected pot, hash, and narcotics paraphernalia -- it was a regular party on wheels.

Topping it all off, the driver was unlicensed; this was not his day. He was arrested "on numerous charges" and his 2008 Beamer was towed away.
