Medical Examiner Releases Identities of Weekend's Three Murder Victims

The San Francisco Medical Examiner has passed SF Weekly the names of all three men gunned down this weekend in a spate of what police are calling gang-related shootings.
On Friday at 24th and Shotwell, the victim was Michael Sanchez, a 21-year-old San Franciscan.
Then, on Sunday afternoon at Papa Potrero's Pizza on 2700 24th Street, Francisco Cornejo, a 26-year-old from parts unknown and 41-year-old Francisco Pena of San Francisco were shot dead.
The rough weekend places the city's yearly homicide tally at 37.
