Webcast of government meeting forthcoming!
Anyone who's ever wondered -- even for a moment -- what the official state response would be to his or her plane bursting into flames on the tarmac ... anyone? Bueller? ... can now glean the answers.

The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 30 in the nation's capital regarding a 2008 incident at San Francisco International Airport when a Boeing 767 burst into flames while on the runway.

No one was injured on that cargo flight -- the captain and first officer went out the cockpit window. The plane, however, didn't fare so well (and some of the cargo didn't arrive in pristine condition to say the least).

So if you were wondering what the government's response is to said fire, the answer is: A meeting. And you can watch that meeting (LIVE! At 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday via Webcast at www.ntsb.gov). The final report will be online sometime in July.

Don't say we never helped you answer any of life's great mysteries.
