Chronicle Reports on Closure of Church -- Tiny, Open-Air Church Along the Busline

People who live in glass houses ought not to throw stones -- though, as Demitri Martin notes, a better motto would be "No stone throwing regardless of housing situation. Don't do it. There is one exception though. If you're trapped in a glass house, and you have a stone, then throw it."
So we thought a bit before posting the above San Francisco Chronicle goof -- but we decided it's worth it. It's not every day the paper reports upon the closure of a landmark city church -- then documents the mayor himself shoveling a pile of dirt over the small, open-air structure (which appears to have been very stylistically "shuttered" with a red velvet ribbon).
Okay, fair enough, they've juxtaposed the church story with art from Mayor Gavin Newsom's photo-op in unveiling our new handy-dandy bus shelters. Some of the many copy editors who have been bought out or laid off in the last few months could likely have pointed that out.
