Okay, deep breath. There are a string of community minded organizations in the following sentence, not to mention the repeated use of the proper names "Bay Area" and "Darfur." Here we go: The SF Bay Area Darfur Coalition is partnering with SF State, the Holocaust Center of Northern California, the Jewish Community Relations Council, and the Save Darfur Coalition to present the San Francisco premier of a national show called Exhibit Darfur.

The show, which explores issues of slavery in Sudan and genocide in Darfur, will open tomorrow at the downtown SF State Campus on Market Street.

The show boasts photography from six artists, including Mia Farrow (yes, Mia Farrow of Rosemary's Baby and The Last Unicorn fame) and former Jane's Addiction band manager, Aaron Cohen. Also featured are photos from Brian Steidle, whose 2004 New York Times photographs first drew attention to the atrocities.

It opens at 9am tomorrow and runs through the 30th. For more info go here.
