Congrats, Vandal: No Matter How Hard Advertisers Try, There's Always a Cleverer Jackass

This minor masterwork, spotted at a bus shelter on the corner of 16th and Mission, proves a tidy little point. Just as Belloq told Indiana Jones that "there is nothing you can possess which I cannot take away," Some anonymous vandal has, in essence, told the advertising stiff "There is nothing you can shill that I cannot transform into an article of filth." Incidentally, the "Of" pictured above was part of a larger ad. We honestly can't remember what it was promoting, however -- all we can remember is "Fuck off."

Here at SF Weekly our civic responsibilities (and that court order) prevent us from condoning vandalism. But, hey, we laughed.
