McCain! Obama! In San Francisco! In Pencil!

These charming portraits of our would-be presidents -- and I do love the slightly reptilian expression on John McCain -- adorn the Market and Church newsstand of a man who gave his name as "Fred, just Fred."
Fred (just Fred) drew the sketches himself, using the frequent front-page photos of both men as models. While he quickly states "I'm no artist," the quality of his work seems to indicate otherwise. Incidentally, Fred says he is "still thinking" over which candidate will draw his vote. --Joe Eskenazi
