Photos: Week on the Street (Part 7)

Notes and Photos by Janine Kahn and Andy Wright
Monday: MUNI prepares for Outside Lands
MUNI warns the locals of the weekend madness well in advance - we spotted this sign on the 47 on our way to work Monday. See more weekend public trans details over at the SFMTA site, and do check our sister blog, All Shook Down over the next few days for Outside Lands photos and coverage.

Tuesday: Asleep in San Francisco
If you're going to snooze on the streets, do it in style. Hats off to this outdoor enthusiast who appears to have fashioned a headboard out of cardboard on Market.

Wednesday: Geishas about town
A second violin-clutching geisha stops traffic at Pennsylvania and 18th. The first one we saw was on Gough and Geary. Still no word on who's behind 'em.

Thursday: Window of creepy collectibles
OK, this display was creepier to walk past at night, but this 22nd Street watch/jewelry repair shop has a collection of weird statues featuring bears and creepy old dudes fixing watches. "Where does one even get a trinket that specific?!" wonders our Andy Wright. Don't even get us started on the clowns...

Friday: Note to Jerk
As seen on O'Farrell at Van Ness.
