While on a leisurely lunch break in picturesque South Park, I stumbled across a pair of lunchers who were hunched over this little guy. The man murmured, "Hello, rat, are you sleeping?" while his female companion adjusted her giant sunglasses and harumphed, "He's probably dead!"
This seemed to settle the argument and after they sauntered away I proceeded to give the maybe-corpse the paparazzi treatment.
Is it possible this little guy expired from the oppressive heat wave that's settled over the city? Are our rats really so delicate? Or is he, as the cup-half-full observer speculated, just napping? Or...is he just stoned?
