Nude Torch Protesters: Don't Stand Too Close to the Flame.

Categories: Politics

adam_eve.JPGWhat San Francisco gathering is complete without some nudity? Be it Critical Ass or the Folsom Street Fair, we are a town filled with a large subculture of people who like to disrobe in public. If you’ve not been moved to join any of the many groups gearing up to protest the Olympic Torch Relay tomorrow, perhaps you would like to join the Nude Run for Human Rights, as listed on Indybay. The poster cautions that "we are not exactly a protest" but that they are "positively pointing out" that "the original Olympic Athletes participated nude" and that "we support Human Rights, EVERYWHERE." Participants are helpfully cautioned not to "make a real flame." Assuming this is not a joke, you can meet your fellow nudists outside Tacqueria Pancho Villa at 12:30 (sharp!) and fuel up on a burrito before the run.-Andy Wright
