Man Gets Shot and Drives Self to Hospital, Hospital Unimpressed

Categories: Crime

gun_bullet.jpgThe Examiner reported today that Hayes Valley's John Muir Elementary School was on lock down for about twenty minutes yesterday afternoon after school officials heard sounds of gunfire across the street. No students or employees were harmed, but one man was shot on the street. He then got in his car and "drove himself to Kaiser Permanente Hospital where he was told to go to San Francisco General Hospital, The City’s gunshot trauma center. He then got back in his car and drove off, but police were unsure whether he made it to the hospital."–Andy Wright
