Republicans Want to Know How Scared You Are of Black People, Women

The Republican National Committee has been conducting some research to figure out how to talk to women and African Americans without immediately pissing them off. Wonkette posted a survey sent out to college students today, and it's pretty awesome. And by "awesome" I mean "wildly offensive." The survey consists of statements that takers can agree or disagree with. Innocuous statements like "We should let people control their own retirement; privatize Social Security" are peppered with "Many women are actually seeking special favors, such as hiring policies that favor them over men, under the guise of "equality."" Dammit, they've figured out our strategy, sisters! Back to the Ovo-Cave of Manhatera! Then there's this one: "I feel threatened when interacting with Black people." I'm trying the to picture who read that statement, furrowed their brow, and then dutifully filled in the bubble under "Neither agree nor disagree."–Andy Wright
