Educate Yo'self: Check Out Some Documentaries
![]()
Let it be about the journey of some teenagers in Spellbound or a naughty journey toward some teenagers in Capturing the Friedmans, a well-made documentary makes for a great movie and shows us that life can be stranger than fiction. Kevin Kelly, one of the founding fathers of Wired Magazine, has released his "200 Documentaries You Must See Before You Die" book on his site as a free pdf file download. I've also discovered QuickSilverScreen, a website that suffers from fantasticular cancer where you can watch free movies. It may not have the biggest library of flicks, but g'head and cross off some of those documentaries or films you've been wanting to see. —James Y Lee
