Damn, That Move Was Expensive: Douchebag movers busted

Categories: Crime

A federal grand jury has indicted more than a dozen people in California and Florida for their role in defrauding and extorting fees from hundreds of residential moving customers.

The defendants allegedly offered extremely low moving estimates, picked up customers' property, suddenly jacked up the prices, than held people's stuff until customers agreed to pay the increased fees. Those indicted include employees of AY Transport, Inc. (also known as Progressive Van Lines and Midwest Relocation Services) and a moving broker named National Moving Network.

Mean!
