Berkeley Tree-Sitters: It's Been A Year Already?

Damn, this is still going on? In what's now being called the longest-running urban tree-sit in the world, a dozen or so righteously faux-named Berkeley tree-sitters celebrated their one year anniversary last week. It must have been difficult to take that celebratory toast from behind a ski mask.

As someone who cares deeply about the environment, I am saddened and disgusted by the actions of the tree-sitters. The tree-sitters are wasting precious resources to achieve an end that is dubious at best, even from an environmental perspective. We can do better -- read more here.
