San Francisco's Free Wi-Fi Dreams Upstaged By New York City

By the end of November, a 36-block long chunk of Midtown Manhattan will have free, public Wi-Fi access, compliments of CBS Corporation. Ouch, that really stings, San Francisco, because while our free Wi-Fi dream may not be dead, it's not exactly alive and well either.
