San Francisco Could Soon Look Like Dallas? Shitty. No Offense.

The Chronicle reports that city planners who approved six glass box-type towers to spring up in San Francisco are now having second thoughts. All that glass, all those comparisons to Dallas. Gee, you'd think maybe the second-guessing should have happened before construction began.
Among the buildings are a 27-story glass tower near First and Mission ("a diaphanous candlestick,"), another nearby at 555 Mission, the InterContinental Hotel at Fifth and Howard ("A cross between a glacier and an old-fashioned apartment radiator"), the Millennium Tower at 301 Mission (a "milky blue ... chameleon").
So let's see, we got a candlestick, a glacier/radiator, a blue chameleon -- are we talking about a skyline or a terrible dream somebody had?
