Craig from Craigslist was on the Colbert Report last week promoting his new venture Donors Choose, a web site that lets you make microdonations to teachers all over the world.Here's a list of some of the most needed things in San Francisco's poorest schools:
chairs books dictionaries sleeping bags field trips emergency food and water microscopes ... liquid crystal display projectors.Okay, I don't know about the last one. Maybe get a overhead projector, lady. But still, this is fucking sad. I wonder what the district admins have to say about their teachers begging the outside world for education staples. Any word, SF teachers? -- David Downs
