Ticketmaster Sues Alleged Maker of Roboscalper
Find it hard to get tickets to your favorite show? Well, you're not just competing against people, you're competing against scalpers armed with automated ticket-buying programs made right here in America. One of the Roboscalper makers just got himself sued by Ticketmaster today according to the AP:
PITTSBURGH (AP) — A software company has been accused of enabling scalpers to buy up tickets for the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana concert tour.Pittsburgh-based RMG Technologies Inc. sold software that allows users to flood Ticketmaster with requests and then sell the tickets at inflated prices, according to a lawsuit filed by Ticketmaster in federal court in Los Angeles.
