Ellen DeGeneres Gives Away Puppy, Suffers the Consequences

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is in trouble with Mutts and Moms dog rescue agency after giving a Brussels Griffon mix named Iggy away to her hairdresser after the little bastard was "too rambunctious" with her cats. Fair enough, right? Wrong.
Here's where it gets complicated: When the rescue agency caught wind, they sent someone to the hairdresser's house and took Iggy away. Why? Because apparently DeGeneres violated the adoption agreement by finding another home for the pooch.
Here's my two cents to add to the chorus of opinions flooding the Chronicle's comments: It's a fucking dog; get over it. If only we took care of children this well.
