Check out the tunes and go hear some great stuff! - Melissa Baron

We talked about super rad bands in the SF Weekly music section this week. Sia charmed her way into hearts while the Kills and the Hives rocked hard. Plus DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, X Clan and DJ Sneak delivered the best hip hop has to offer. Listen up, these guys know what's hot, plus all the bands are playing in SF this week. -Melissa Baron

For those who missed the shows, here's our SF Music Stream of the Week, featuring Liars, Yeasayer, and Hey Willpower and some other stuff we wrote about in the print music section.-ASD Staff Report, Thanks Medina
I really like the music we wrote about in the SF Weekly music section this week. The Cool Kids make it sound like hip-hop ain't dead, Dan Deacon creates noisy-awesome madness that the warehouse kids can only dream of, and Cornelius's coffee shop muzak deserves genuine respect. New tunes, people! Listen for your own good. -douche twice
(The SF Music Stream is compiled every Wenesday by Oscar Medina, usually it runs on Wednesday at 9 a.m., but things got super-FUBAR this week.)
