Noise Pop Announces First Names for 2014 Festival: Mark Kozelek, Bob Mould, and More
The end of Treasure Island marks the official conclusion of the warm-weather festival season in S.F., which means -- you guessed it -- it's already time to start getting ready for next year. Noise Pop today announced the first batch of artists for its namesake 2014 festival, which will take place in clubs across the city from Feb. 25 to March 2, 2014. Here they are:
Mark Kozelek (of Sun Kil Moon and Red House Painters)
Bob Mould (celebrating 25 Years of Workbook, his first solo album after Hüsker Dü)
Free Salamander Exhibit
Keep in mind, this is just the first batch of names, and will undoubtedly expand as we get closer to next February. But if you want to get prepared now, Early Bird badges are on sale for $125. (The price will go up to $150 for a regular badge.) This year the festival will also offer Super Fan Badges for $350, which include "everything the regular badge has to offer, in addition to an official festival merchandise package, drink tickets to select events, rideshare coupons, guaranteed entry to any non-seated show, and a Noise Pop fest representative available for assistance during the Festival."
