Iggy and the Stooges performing at the Warfield
Important reminder! In case you didn't make it all the way through our roundup of new Bay Area music festivals, Iggy and the Stooges are playing this weekend at C2SV, a new SXSW-style tech-and-music confab in San Jose. The show goes down at St. James Park, and includes Thee Oh Sees, Bosnian Rainbows, and the Bang. Also: We've heard from several places that this might be the last Iggy and the Stooges show for a while.

The band has been rather active as of late, releasing a new album, Ready to Die, this spring, and playing numerous live dates, including actual South by Southwest. San Jose this weekend is the last show on the band's tour itinerary, and sources close to the band are saying that Iggy and Co. have no plans to tour next year. So yes, it's San Jose, but hell, have you seen the Stooges live? Tickets are right now going for $35 (plus a $5 fee), which, well, you could do worse.
