Washed Out Revealed as Headliner For Popscene's 17th Anniversary Party This Week
Popscene, the club night that started as a celebration of Britpop and became the country's longest-running indie weekly, turns 17 years old this Thursday. Chief organizer and Live 105 music director Aaron Axelsen had been keeping the name of this week's headliner under wraps --¬†until this weekend, that is. Fresh off of his set at Monterey's First City Festival, and with a new album, Paracosm, out this month on Sub Pop, it's now been revealed that Washed Out will play this week's Popscene.

Washed Out plays the Rickshaw Stop, a smaller venue than you'd normally catch the act in, on Thursday with Popscene DJs. Tickets are still available.
