Thee Parkside and Noise Pop's Travis Hayes Busse Is the Star of a New Scion Ad
The new poster boy for the Scion car company is someone you've probably seen at a local show. Travis Hayes Busse helps book bands at S.F. club Thee Parkside as well as at the Noise Pop and Treasure Island music festivals, and he's the subject of both a new 30-second TV commercial for Scion and a three-minute mini-documentary about his life in the local music scene. The ad shows Busse doing his thing in various clubs around the city, while the documentary goes more in-depth, giving the subject a chance to explain how he came to work in music for a living. Unsurprisingly, both clips heavily feature Busse's white Scion tC. The major detail they don't go into is where he manages to park it in San Francisco.
