Morrissey Adds New San Francisco Show in March -- Let's Hope He Doesn't Cancel
To Bay Area concertgoers, at least, Morrissey is like a bad parent: He keeps promising to come here and play, but then cancels his shows at the last minute, causing heartache and anguish in his hugely dedicated fans. It's happened three times in a row now, and everyone is pretty goddamn tired of it.
Coming back -- we hope...
So it's with a little trepidation that inform you that Mr. Moz is now scheduled for not one, but two San Francisco shows in the coming months. One was recently added, and goes on sale this Friday. How many of those dates will he actually play? Let's hope history is not a guide.

The first of Morrissey's upcoming shows is Sunday, Feb. 24, at Davies Symphony Hall -- a rescheduling of the Nov. 12, 2011 Fox Theater show he didn't play. Seeing him in this venue should be amazing. Unfortunately, however, the show appears to be sold out.
But! Morrissey just added a new show at the Regency Ballroom on March 9. It's a much smaller venue than Davies, obviously, and tickets don't go onsale until this Friday, so there's theoretically a chance that you could get in.
After that? There's nothing to do but wait, cross your fingers, and hope the guy doesn't cancel one more time -- or two.
