So Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit concert went down at Shoreline Amphitheatre this weekend, bringing artists like the Flaming Lips, Jack White, Guns N' Roses, Eddie Vedder, and many more onstage for an all-acoustic show.

Somewhat surprisingly, Guns N' Roses actually showed up, apparently close to on time, and played some songs that you might have heard of. But the organizers wisely arranged for Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder to play a surprise set just before them -- a clear hedging of their bets.

"I woke up this morning, this is the last thing I thought I'd be doing," Vedder said. "Opening up for Guns N' Roses with an acoustic guitar."

We've rounded up video highlights from Bridge School 2012 below, including GNR playing some classics, Eddie Vedder playing solo, and Jack White playing the shit out of some new songs off Blunderbuss (and some White Stripes faves). Check it out:

If you saw the GnR set and didn't get a lump in your throat seeing DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot interact with those kids on stage, you're not breathing. It's ridiculous to focus on Axl's looks.
